PUBLIC MEETING: FEELING THE HEAT

Please make every effort come to our public meeting at 7pm the Wednesday, June 8.

Come and hear Tim Birch – Conservation Manager for Derbyshire Wildlife Trust – talk about the threats to our wildlife in Derbyshire and the UK from climate change. He will be illustrating his talks with examples from Derbyshire.

Tim will also be raising the issue of the referendum on June 23. So far there is has been all too little coverage of the implications on Climate and Energy policies; some of this has been tracked by Carbon Brief; follow this link.

7:00 pm Wednesday June 8
St Peter’s Centre
St Peters Street,Derby, DE1 1NN

Speakers from other organisations have been invited to tell us what they are doing and we will receive an update from the Amber Valley anti-fracking campaign.

Hoping to see you on the evening.
